Recently I went through a challenging time with fear and anxiety about the future of my health. I got a bit down and I wanted to change the focus of my thinking. I recreated a lesson that I used with my students. It is based on the idea of expressing emotions with line and color. After the initial watercolor resist process, I enhanced it by adding white acrylic and/or gold.
The universe of boundless opportunity sustains me now.

As a woman, the objectification of our bodies has always concerned me. Having found plastic body forms meant for display of swim wear, I was inspired to make these assemblages to represent different conditions and objectifications of women's bodies.
